This was our first time doing a winter backpacking trip! The first day, we went over Mount Hale and then spent the night at Zealand Falls Hut. The next day, we went over Zealand and the three Bonds (West Bond, Bond, and Bondcliff) and then headed out via Lincoln Woods.

Mount Jackson has excellent views of the surrounding Presidentials and many other peaks from its ledgy summit. We did a nice loop hike over Mount Jackson and spent the night in the backcountry by staying at Nauman Tentsite. Check out our experience on this trip!
Mount Jackson is a part of the southern Presidential Range and has excellent views of the surrounding Presidentials from its ledgy summit. In the winter, Mount Jackson makes for a short hike and a steady climb to the summit which is just above treeline where you can enjoy panoramic views.
